This was one of the very first "Energy Portraits" I did. It came to me as an exercise when I was first opening myself to the Energy Portrait process. I had felt that some of the energy I was feeling around me was faery energy, so I opened up, asked for insight and infornation and suddenly I began using the pastels with both hands.
I had never operated ambidextrously before, and further, when I was making the yellow swirls, I felt my hands being picked up and down by the layer of energy just above my skin, so that they made little pouncing movements, and the tops of my hands tingled.
Whenever I feel this now, I know that fearies are influencing my painting.
This painting was my teaching painting, showing me how it feels when I invite the faeries to express themselves and the energy they carry through me.
